Personal Pro-Am The relatively sleepy town of La Quinta sits a few miles south of its famous neighbor Palm Springs, right in the heart of Southern California’s Coachella Valley. The valley’s annual 350 days of sunshine have long sustained its agricultural base and now more than 200 golf courses, leading the Robb Report to recently credit La Quinta as the nation’s leading golf destination.
