IMI employees trust that every step they take provides a little hope for their fellow man. Entering road races for charities that fight cancer, diabetes and domestic violence, among other causes, Team IMI laces it up on Saturday mornings to do its part. In fact, in 2004 IMI staffers raised some $9,000 for these worthwhile causes.

IMI’s Angel DeBruhl says, “My husband, daughters and I enjoy the Relay for Life every year, which benefits the American Cancer Society. There are fun activities for the children, like face-painting, and it provides a neat way for us to model to our girls the importance of helping others.”

IMIPartner Dan Collins notes that participation in charitable races not only spreads goodwill in the community, but is also a source of great satisfaction to the IMI partners. “It means a great deal to see our folks get up early on Saturdays promoting these causes. It not only speaks to the culture of our company, but more important, the character of our employees.”
